Blaster pistols are fierce and powerful weapons, allowing a flurry of blaster bolts to fill the the battlefield. Blaster pistols get a great many attacks as well as a weaponskill that allows one to make two shots instantly on top of the already rapid attacks. Blaster pistols make some of the most deadly weapons in SWLOR, able to clear enemies effectively and ruthlessly from a safe distance. Against creatures with high Damage Resistance they may suffer some slight DPS dropoff compared to their rifle counterparts, but otherwise these make an excellent choice.
While you cannot equip two blasters due to difficulties with the systems in-game at the moment, you are more than welcome to roleplay having a pair of pistols at your use.
