Caps are light armor that occupies the head slot. Caps offer lower defense and HP compared to their Helmet counterparts, but grant larger pools of either Force Points or Stamina and their respective regeneration rates, allowing the player to perform more actions that use those resource pools. Some characters who may feel like they do not have enough defense can mix and match light and heavy armor to compensate, helping to alleviate the lower defense without losing too much of their respective resource pools and their regeneration rates.
